Our Mission

Helping Keep Oregonians Connected

When the federal government ended the Affordable Connectivity Program, over 240,000 Oregonians lost vital access to phones and service. At Cell Phone Safety Net, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, we stepped in—providing low- or no-cost phones to those most affected.

We serve:

Families facing temporary hardship who need a lifeline to stay connected

People experiencing homelessness who need a phone to apply for jobs or access services

Survivors of domestic violence who need a safe, anonymous number to start over

Formerly incarcerated individuals working to reintegrate into society

Seasonal agricultural workers who depend on reliable communication for coordination and safety

And many more who simply need a hand to get back on their feet
